My Photography Backstory
I have always had a passion for taking photos. My mom used to buy me little throw-away cameras in elementary school and I would always be SO excited to get them developed. Most of the pictures I took were of my cat, lol! I bought my first DSLR when my son was born. I was going to take all kinds of adorable pictures of him, and my cat! Together! Haha! Then it turned into doing photoshoots for friends and family for the fun of it. I never thought I'd be making a living off of photography, but here I am! Literally living the dream!
My photography technique
I love to capture real emotions, so I'm always trying to incorporate movement into my photography. My favorite photos are never posed and I love all the personalities that show through in my photographs, every person is unique!
The girl behind the Camera
I'm a mom to a little man and a full-time nurse! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV so I know the ins and outs of this city! I love nature - especially the ocean - and I adore my family! My son, Wyatt, is my little sunshine dude! He lights up my life even when he's driving me a little mad! I also have three young siblings which basically makes me "second mom". I have always loved caring for people and making sure everyone knows they are perfect just as they are!
Personally, I'm very much an introvert. I'm always thinking up crazy ideas in my off time! With my introversion comes lots of introspection and creativity. I think deeply about every photoshoot and how to create the perfect image for that person. I love to speak through pictures rather than words, my way of self-expression is through art! I think seeing multiple photos of me represents me better than just one posed one, like I said, I love the natural fun shots!
